I prefer to have steamboat at home. That's what my mum will prepare during Chinese New Year and it's like a tradition in our family. Besides that, it's much easier to be prepared as comparing to the traditional Chinese cooking and with my mum alone, it's best to let her do the minimum as I will only come back on the second day. By the time I reached home, the meal could be served. You just have to wash the vegetables, fish balls, meat, seafood and others well and prepare the soup. Sounds clean and easy huh?

Besides that, it's not oily, so it should be less fattening too.

Too bad we don't have coffee makers at home, if not won't it be great to have a cup of black coffee after the meal? But never mind, some lychee and longan will be great as well. Yummy!
